Honeywell Industrial Combustion

Profile

Honeywell Industrial Combustion is a market leader in delivering fully engineered burner systems, sub-assembly pipe trains and control panels, along with safety components and controls. The company's expertise and knowledge deliver high-value solutions focused on improving energy efficiency across a wide range of vertical markets. Honeywell Industrial Combustion is part of Environmental and Combustion Controls, a division of the Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions (ACS) business. Complete industrial burner systems Honeywell Industrial Combustion supplies complete custom-built industrial burner systems, consisting of a burner, a pipe train, a control panel and, where required, a combustion chamber. These are developed in close co-operation with customers and engineered to local regulations and standards. Applications include ovens, dryers, incinerators and furnaces. The systems can also use air, preheated air and oxygen as an oxidant for a wide range of combustion fuels, such as natural gas, biogas, hydrogen, LPG and oil. The company has the capability to package complete systems and provide start-up assistance where turnkey installation is a requirement. MAXON industrial gas and oil burners MAXON burners are available as natural gas burners, oil burners, combination burners, low nitrogen oxide burners and in other varieties. The burners produce efficiency gains to help reduce fuel bills for critical industrial heating processes. Maxon also focuses its technology on reducing emissions to ensure compliance with the toughest environmental regulations. For furnaces, kilns, oxidizers, or other industrial heaters, MAXON burners provide an application that works, and can be counted on for years of dedicated service. MAXON oil and gas shut-off valves MAXON valves are available with a broad range of trims to safely shut off almost every gas or liquid imaginable, from general purpose to corrosive gases or oxygen. Powerful closing springs provide a reliable closing force to ensure the safe shut off of fuel. The unique guillotine design ensures extremely low pressure drops for a given line size, and adds a self-cleaning stroke to valve operation. MAXON gas valves are the only fuel shut-off valves with metal-to-metal seats that 'wear in' and not out. They are available with electrical or pneumatic actuators. Before leaving the factory, all MAXON valves are tested 100% for function and seal. All MAXON valves are available with international agency approvals for a wide variety of services, including hazardous areas. Performance, reliability and durability are three reasons why MAXON valves have been industry leaders since the 1920s. Flame monitoring systems A range of flame monitoring systems is available for use in the petro-chemical, pulp and paper and power generation industries, as well as in applications where the detection, monitoring and control of furnaces and boilers are required. Flame monitoring systems include: Ultraviolet and infrared viewing heads Single, dual and three-channel signal processors, an all-in-one integrated solution Flare stack monitors To further enhance these products, there is also a range of fibre-optic extension solutions for tilting burners and to monitor flames in hostile environments, where higher temperatures, vibration and/or accessibility are issues. Industrial burner controls Honeywell Industrial Combustion offers various models of microprocessor-based industrial burner controls for automatically fired gas, oil or combination-fuel single-or-multi-burner applications. This includes all types of unlimited-capacity burners, and intermittent or continuous operation, depending on the model. MAXON SMART technology MAXON SMART technology supplies rugged industrial highly accurate combustion control to be used in combination with the majority of MAXON burner systems, especially those designed for low-emission applications. SMART technology has been successfully applied in energy-saving projects and other applications outside of combustion.
