Compression springs Hanson Springs' purpose-built UK production sites have enabled us to implement an efficient production environment, incorporating new and existing equipment and processes. Recent further expansion with additional investment in new machinery ensures the continued supply of the best in compression springs at a competitive price. Our extensive range of alloys and sizes in raw material inventory, together with a flexible production system, are instrumental in providing a rapid response to meet short delivery deadlines. Alloy springs and wire forms Our manufacturing facilities are centres of excellence, enhanced by recent investment, for producing small quantities of springs and wire forms, in a wide variety of alloys. Here, traditional 'craft' spring-making skills are allied to cutting-edge technologies and management practices. Spring finishes for the offshore industry We offer a wide range of spring finishes in-house, which include phosphate oil, stove enamelling, shotpeening, gritblasting, glassbeading, aluminising and powder coating. We can also provide various electro-plates via our approved sub-contractors. Our designers and technicians are always available to advise and assist in solving any spring problem or query, working closely with the Institute of Spring Technology where necessary. Spring inspection and testing Inspection and testing procedures are carried out at every stage of the production of our springs, to ensure the highest possible product quality. Metallurgical, mechanical and non-destructive tests (to ASNT Level 2 qualification) are all undertaken in-house, on raw material and finished springs, with certification available on request.
