Springs for safety-relief valves, control and ball valves, and actuators
Hanson Springs' product range includes springs for safety-relief valves, actuators, control valves, ball valves and pipe supports, produced to exacting standards in our UK manufacturing plants and distributed worldwide.
We provide specialist springs to the demanding field of flow control, in oil, gas, chemical and power industries. Our high level of customer service together with our private ownership allows us to provide fast solutions, whatever your requirements.
Compression spring production
Hanson Springs' purpose-built UK production sites have enabled us to implement an efficient production environment, incorporating new and existing equipment and processes. Recent further expansion with additional investment in new machinery ensures the continued supply of the best in compression springs at a competitive price.
Our extensive range of alloys and sizes in raw material inventory, together with a flexible production system, are instrumental in providing a rapid response to meet short delivery deadlines.
Alloy springs and wire forms
Our manufacturing facilities are centres of excellence, enhanced by recent investment, for producing small quantities of springs and wire forms, in a wide variety of alloys. Here, traditional 'craft' spring-making skills are allied to cutting-edge technologies and management practices.
Spring finishes for the offshore industry
We offer a wide range of spring finishes in-house, which include phosphate oil, stove enamelling, shotpeening, gritblasting, glassbeading, aluminising and powder coating. We can also provide various electro-plates via our approved sub-contractors.
Our designers and technicians are always available to advise and assist in solving any spring problem or query, working closely with the Institute of Spring Technology where necessary.
Spring inspection and testing
Inspection and testing procedures are carried out at every stage of the production of our springs, to ensure the highest possible product quality. Metallurgical, mechanical and non-destructive tests (to ASNT Level 2 qualification) are all undertaken in-house, on raw material and finished springs, with certification available on request.
High-quality spring manufacture
Our enviable client list is ever-growing, and our client retention rate is second to none. A key element in our continued worldwide success is our commitment to forming true partnerships with customers at all levels of business. Achieving a high level of understanding is of mutual benefit in meeting the ever-increasing demands of international industry.
The fast-moving pace of today's business world dictates that quality and service are expected commodities. We firmly believe that by working in partnership with both customers and suppliers, we can react quickly to the market, ensuring we maintain a shared advantage.
