TOPOGRAPHY

Topography in the vicinity of Darwin is remarkably flat, consisting of a coastal plain rising gradually towards an inland plateau at a distance of 125 miles (200 km) to the east, south, and west. There are no mountains or even serious hills in the surrounding area.
