PORT VISIT INFORMATION
In November 1998, NRL Meteorologist Mr. Sam Brand and SAIC Meteorologist Mr. R. E. Englebretson met with the following persons to obtain much of the information in this evaluation: Dom Figliomeni, General Manager, Hugh Evans, Harbor Master, and Laurie Wilson, Assistant Harbor Master/Pilot, Bunbury Port Authority; Barry Hanstrum, Regional Manager, Severe Weather Section, and Gary Foley, Regional Manager, Forecasting Operations, Bureau of Meteorology Regional Office, Perth, Western Australia. In addition, Dom Figliomeni provided significant assistance by providing answers to a tropical cyclone questionnaire, as well as charts and diagrams of the Port of Bunbury harbor facilities. Mr. C. J. Neumann, SAIC, Monterey, CA provided the tropical cyclone climatology data used in this evaluation; Ms. Cynthia Orander, SAIC, Monterey, CA provided the HTML coding and site design for transition to electronic format.
