Winches, pumps and dredging equipment Technology developed by WPT® is used in offshore applications including anchor handling, positioning and mooring winches, pumps, deck machinery and dredging. Water-cooled brakes for braking and tensioning Compromise is not an option for these platform winches. WPT water cooled brakes on anchor and positioning winches have been used in large-scale projects throughout offshore industry. Several of our brakes are ABS Type approved and have other marine certifications which reinforce their reliability. Water-cooled brakes available are air-actuated, spring set or a dual actuated for heavy-duty tensioning and dynamic braking on anchor/mooring winches and deck machinery applications. Power take-offs Our Power Take-Offs are designed for some of the most rugged, high capacity applications where performance is critical. Benefits include maintenance free self-adjusting clutch, either air or hydraulic actuation and easy drive belt removal. Combined with WPT's Kevlar® reinforced friction discs makes this a required product for toughest mud pump applications in offshore or land drilling.
