WeldNet is a specialised welding and metallurgical engineering consultancy group based in Perth, Western Australia. The group has been established for over 20 years, and services clients in the oil and gas, mineral processing, mining, construction and fabrication industries in Australia and overseas.
Oil and gas welding and metallurgical engineering advice and consultancy
WeldNet offers contract and ad-hoc welding and metallurgical engineering advice and consultancy on design, fabrication, construction, quality assurance and control, as well as failure and defect analysis and investigation. This includes specialised support from our main office to our clients in Australia and overseas on construction and fabrication sites.
In addition, WeldNet provides on-going welding and metallurgical advice for maintenance and shutdown support for major chemical, oil, LNG and mineral processing plants based in Australia and overseas.

Project management services for offshore welding
WeldNet can provide supervision of projects such as shutdown maintenance welding and hot taps, tenders and contract views.
In addition, the company offers a documentation management service that uses its computer-based WeldNet™ database. Welding coordination is carried out by welding engineers, technologists and specialists who hold appropriate international, European and Australian qualifications.

Welding and metallurgical inspection and surveillance services
WeldNet provides welding and metallurgical inspection, surveillance and supervision services to the mining industry. These include radiographic interpretation (CSWIP level 2); hardness testing (TIME portable testing); WTIA / IIW international welding inspectors; AS1796 Certificate 10 welding supervisors; welding quality assurance and coordination to AS/NZS ISO 3834; and auditing site and workshop welding, QA/QC and HSE activities.
Welding services for offshore and pipeline projects
WeldNet welding specialists, technologists and engineers support many of the current major offshore LNG platform and pipeline construction projects in Australia.
WeldNet is currently involved with a number of industry projects and service contracts. These include welding engineering support (Neptune Marine Services and Mermaid Marine); asset / brownfield support (Transfield Worley Woodside Alliance); pipeline projects (Origin Energy - Redback South; Santos - Vic-P44 pipeline project; WorleyParsons / WestNet Energy - Dampier to Bunbury Pipeline); and offshore / power station facilities maintenance welding engineering support (Vermilion Oil & Gas; Verve Energy).
