Timcor

Profile

Timcor is a Norwegian-based company that specialises in the supply of structural fabrication and erection, and surface treatments for onshore and offshore structures. The company also specialises in supplying offshore rigs with storage containers for waste management. Offshore structural steel fabrication and erection Steel fabrication and erection for offshore structures can require a complex design of different metal alloys, and highly technical experience is required to ensure the structure is efficiently and professionally made. At Timcor, our staff produce high-quality welded steelwork, whether a project requires lightweight or heavy steel, for mechanical engineering, construction and industrial applications. We work with selected and trusted manufacturers to provide clients with the option of choosing their preferred product for design, engineering, manufacturing, supervision and project control and management purposes. For the offshore industry, we also provide addition services such as the provision of supports, frames, baskets and other products. Timcor also provides personnel to assemble or mechanically erect welded steel structures at the project site, or assist in the repair of established installations. Previous projects include civil and industrial project sites, petrochemical and dry cargo trans-shipment terminals in ports, processing plants, flue gas treatments, steel mills and cement factories. The company holds ISO 9001:2008 certification, and is currently acquiring ISO 3834 and ISO 1090 too. Surfaces treatment for onshore structures Timcor specialises in industrial onshore and marine surface coatings and repairs, in addition to offshore skips and basket coatings. Our team has extensive experience working on complex industrial installations, tanks, pipelines, cranes and ships, particularly in corrosive environments. With our surface treatment division based in Latvia, Timcor is readily able to service projects across Europe. We have long-term and trusted relationships with several steelwork contractors, and are willing to travel to provide on-site new building, repair surface protection or coating services. Currently, Timcor is seeking to expand its services throughout Europe, and has already gained shipyard and industrial contracts in Lithuania and Germany. Containers for offshore waste management For more than ten years, we have supplied hook roll on/off containers, lift dumpers and kombi containers for offshore vessels in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands, in addition to clients further abroad. All our containers are manufactured to Swedish standards SS3021, SS3020 and DIN 30722, and our close relationship with transport companies means we can efficiently transport stock to any destination. We stock plastic waste bins varying in capacity from 90l to 1,100l, which can be personalised with identification details or different colours. For offshore vessels needing modular storage, Timcor's quick-build containers are simple to build and take up a minimal amount of space when not in use. Constructed in both one-door or two-door varieties, the containers can suitably store any items such as chemicals, oil products and inflammable products with a higher flash point than 100°C, and shelf stands can be provided also. The containers possess specially-shaped corners that allow cranes to effectively lift and deposit them, and they can also be lifted by a fork-lift truck. In addition to this, Timcor also stocks a wide range of metal boxes in a range of sizes for safety protection and storage. About Timcor Timcor is a part of an Eastern European group that includes Timcor SIA (Latvia) TC Steel SIA (Latvia) and TC Steel LT UAB (Lithuania) which together provide a range of products and services worldwide. With our comprehensive network of employees, suppliers and producers, in addition to our project management services, we can provide specialised and professional services to efficiently high standards.
