Unique product properties As a result, our high-performance para-aramid fibres, Twaron and Technora, Teijin Aramid offers unique properties such as high tenacity, high strength and high-tensile modulus. Therefore our fibers are perfectly suited to reinforcing a wide range of oil and gas products. Reinforced thermoplastic pipes Twaron reinforced thermoplastic pipes (RTP) are characterised by their corrosion resistance, high-pressure rating, low weight and high flexibility. Combined with the availability on long lengths, reliable coupling, superior UV resistance and high durability, Twaron RTPs offer a state-of-the-art pipeline solution in applications for transport of oil, gas and water. Deepwater development Besides RTPs, Twaron and Technora are excellently suited to reinforce the broad range of deepwater equipment such as umbilicals, flexible flowlines and risers, seismic cables, deepflow, ropes, straps and slings. With our aramids Twaron and Technora - produced at our plants in The Netherlands and Japan - we offer the widest range of products.
