Sage Construction, part of Sage (UK), offers ERP software called EVision that is based on Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV (formerly Navision) and has been specifically designed for use by businesses that provide equipment, personnel and associated services to the oil and gas industry.
Equipment tracking, advanced HR and job costing software
Microsoft's rapid application development environment utilises a relational database and 32-bit Windows architecture. Sage Construction adds to this development by fully integrating new functionality and configuring the product specifically for the oilfield services industry. Fully integrated modules include equipment hire and tracking; personnel hire and advanced HR; job costing; and equipment maintenance.
ERP software specification
These are complemented by the wide range of standard Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV modules, such as general ledger (including multi-currency); purchase and payables; sales and receivables; manufacturing and planning; CRM; payroll; and web commerce. These are available for deployment in more than 100 countries, providing local legislation, language, and multi-currency support, allowing for both independent processing and consolidated reporting.

Integrated reporting
Microsoft Dynamics NAV provides a wide range of reporting as standard but users can also create their own reports using the in-built report writer or by using a reporting tool such as Jet Reports, or via SQL Reporting Services. Reports can be sent to a printer, faxed, emailed, published on the web, or extracted to PCs, or incorporated into Group systems.
