Availability allows for on time delivery of orders in accordance with customer documentation and inspection and testing requirements including NORSOK and Exxon Mobil. ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) high strength, corrosion resistant stainless steel Strength, toughness, corrosion resistance, availability and affordability are extremely desirable properties. ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) offers these properties in sea water service (aerated, chlorinated sea water) and also in process pipe work applications (CO 2 /H 2 S/Cl- environments at high temperatures and pressures). ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) products compete strongly with super austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys by providing lower base metal costs due to lower levels of nickel and molybdenum while giving the required performance. ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) offers further cost reductions because its higher strength allows reduction in the wall thickness of pipes and vessels in accordance with design codes. ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) provides a long life, minimum maintenance facility for all sea water and process applications. ZERON® 100 for seawater cooling, fire water and utility applications ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) has displaced 90/10 copper nickel, 6% Mo super austenitic steels, titanium and GRP in sea water service. Low cost, ready availability and performance in this application have been key to the success of the grade. It has been used for sea water lift, fire water and high pressure sea water injection pumps, utility water ring mains, fire water deluge systems, filter vessels, sea water cooled heat exchangers, sea water injection and sulphate removal system pipe work. ZERON® 100 process applications - topside and subsea ZERON 100 (UNS S32760) provides resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and sulphide stress corrosion cracking in many produced fluids and complies with ISO 15156 / NACE MR0175 part 3. It has excellent resistance to localised corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking in marine atmosphere up to 70°C (above this temperature it should be coated). Subsea, with cathodic protection, ZERON 100 (UNS S32760) pipes, fittings and API flanges exceed the threshold strain / stress requirements to militate against hydrogen induced stress corrosion cracking as detailed in DNV RP F 112. ZERON 100 (UNS S32760) has been used as topside process pipe work, production and test manifold, process gas coolers, risers, gas compression, HT/HP pipe work systems, sub sea flow loops, subsea heat exchangers, and pipe line applications. ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) has been deployed in all the major oil and gas producing provinces. Recent product developments include ZERON 100 (UNS S32760) high strength wire line for down hole use and long seam welded tube for heat exchanger, instrumentation tube, subsea umbilical and flying lead applications. Fabrication, availability and service When requested, we fabricate spools and vessels to customer isometrics and fabrication specifications. We use ZERON 100X welding consumables. All welding is done by qualified welders working to qualified procedures.
