Point Lighting Corporation was founded by a group of airfield lighting professionals dedicated to the values of service, quality and expertise in the fields of aviation obstruction lighting and airfield lighting.
The company has been a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified airfield lighting manufacturer since 1993. We participate in the FAA program with the Intertek testing service (ETL label) as the authorized certification body.
In one company Point Lighting uniquely combines years of experience in aviation lighting manufacturing, marketing and international sales.
FAA-certified helideck lighting products
Point Lighting maintains FAA certification for all products we manufacture for which an FAA standard exists. We have an FAA-certified airfield lighting manufacturing facility in accordance with the FAA advisory circular 150/5345-53B, which is subject to quarterly inspections by Intertek.
Safety helideck lighting products for hazardous environments
Most Point Lighting products are ETL safety listed to UL1598 and C22.2 No.250.0-04 for Canada. Helideck lighting products are certified to UL1598A for marine vessels. Many lights are available for hazardous environments listed to Class I, Division 2 with ATEX zone 1 pending.

Point Lighting is the world leader in the application of high-intensity LED technology and engineered mounting techniques for lighting systems for heliports and helidecks. We offer LED wind cones and perimeter-light brightness control.
We are your experts for interpretation of the FAA and ICAO-standard practices for heliport and helideck lighting systems. We also have expert knowledge of FAA advisory circular 70/7460-1K 'Obstruction Marking and Lighting'.
We will review your site plans and the owner’s guidelines and recommend a lighting system for inclusion in the plans. We will write suggested specifications for heliport lighting systems for offshore vessels, hospitals, and commercial and military facilities based on standard industry practice and FAA or ICAO recommendations.
LED helideck and heliport air navigation
Point Lighting offers visual navigational aids and technical advice to consultants, industrial plants, airports and contractors with quality products sold through electrical distributors and representatives. We offer LED identification beacons and helideck status light systems to UK cap 437.
Process industry obstruction-lighting systems
Point Lighting has special expertise in application engineering for process industry obstruction-lighting systems for refineries, process plants and other major industrial sites. In addition, we offer complete export services.
