Kenz Cranes

Profile

The Kenz Figee Group is a hoisting and lifting knowledge centre serving the global market with a broad portfolio of land and offshore cranes. Using our in-house production, testing, commissioning and installation facilities, we are able to deliver our custom-designed equipment on a turnkey basis. Because the Kenz Figee Group has its own engineering company (DCE), we are able to develop products entirely under own management, from concept to delivery. Offshore cranes for fixed platforms, semisubmersibles, jack-ups and multipurpose vessels Kenz Cranes develops, assembles, tests and commissions a broad range of offshore cranes for fixed platforms, semisubmersibles, jack-ups and multipurpose vessels with hook loads ranging from 2.5t to 500t. Kenz cranes are built for use in the harshest conditions and can therefore be used on both fixed and floating drilling platforms and vessels, in virtually any part of the world. To meet our clients' specific requirements our cranes are custom made, or an existing crane concept is reused and amended where required. Kenz cranes are designed and built in accordance with all international standards including specific customer requirements and certified by all recognized authorities. More than 300 Kenz offshore cranes are in operation today, working in the harshest marine environments from the North Sea to West Africa, and from the Gulf of Mexico to the Asia Pacific region. Boom hoist offshore cranes The boom hoist offshore crane, also called the lattice boom crane, is a pedestal mounted crane with a rope luffing lightweight lattice boom. Boom hoist cranes are typically used where large boom lengths are required. Boom hoist offshore cranes can be used on fixed or floating platforms, jack-ups and multipurpose vessels. Ram luffing offshore cranes The ram luffing offshore crane, also called a box boom crane, is a pedestal mounted crane with a ram cylinder luffing boom of box steel construction. Box boom cranes are typically used on fixed platforms and vessels thanks to their compact design, requiring only limited space and bringing on relatively little weight. Despite their compact and lightweight design, Kenz ram luffing offshore cranes are very easy to maintain. Kenz Cranes service engineers In addition to the above, our dedicated team of service engineers is always on stand-by to provide service support on location as well as by remote access. Over the years, we have developed various modification and refurbishment programs. We can offer complete upgrade and conversion services, for our own cranes as well as those of other manufacturers. Redesign and fabrication follow detailed structure analysis, resulting in good-as-new equipment, fully tested and verified. Crane refurbishment and modifications Over the years, Kenz Cranes has developed various modification and refurbishment programs. We can provide various services, such as: Life-time extension (complete crane) Replacement of components to ensure availability Reduce maintenance costs and requirements Upgrade of capacity Comply with current legislation Increase reliability Modifications to allow for man-riding Ergonomics Refurbishment schemes will be specifically developed for each client, type of crane, type of application and with regard to circumstances. Furthermore, Kenz Cranes has the ability to realize projects on a turn-key basis. Crane engineering specialist Dutch Crane Engineering (DCE), the engineering specialist for hoisting and lifting equipment with roots in the heavy-duty crane industry, started out as the engineering department of Kenz Cranes, a respected name in cranes and lifting machinery for the offshore industry. Thanks to our expanding activities, we became an autonomous company in 2008. We are currently staffed by thirty experienced engineers and with our extensive experience in the field, we offer reliable and innovative technical solutions to customers in various branches of the onshore and offshore industries.
