Geoscout Geochemical Exploration

Profile

Geoscout Exploration specializes in near surface geochemical surveys including; Soil Gas Hydrocarbon, Microbial, Iodine, Ultra Violet and Spectral Soil Alteration.
Microseepage from oil and gas accumulations form a 'geochemical chimney? that alters soils. The collection and analysis of near surface hydrocarbon soil gas (methane through butane), combined with Eh, pH, and conductivity, is a powerful tool in the search for economic hydrocarbons at depth as indirect and direct methods are integrated for comparative analysis.
Your geochemical survey can be planned, collected, analyzed and interpreted within a matter of weeks, enabling you to easily incorporate the results into ongoing exploration or development programs. Our portable lab allows for soilgas samples to be analyzed the day of acquisition, so that preliminary data can be in your hands within a day or two of field work. Reconnaissance surveys: Widely spaced sampling using one or more of the methods to detect soil alteration at the surface (microbial, iodine, UV, etc.) can be a cost effective means of screening large acreage blocks. Maps and data available in hardcopy and a variety of digital formats. Intrnational work is aided by lab and professional support in Romania and Italy.
