Heavy industrial system scaffolding The key to the success of Altrad Futuro scaffolding in industrial applications is the tension-optimised socket plate, which contains eight specially formed openings capable of taking up to eight ledgers / diagonals. Quick-to-install heavy scaffolding for marine use Advanced technology, self-securing assembly, automatic right angles and few basic components all lead to the erection of Altrad Futuro being more than 60% quicker than traditional tube and fittings. The system scaffold also means a simple, logical assembly sequence and permits the use of semi-skilled workers. Flexible offshore scaffolding The use of the small connection gaps for connecting horizontals allows a 90° angle to be created between them. The larger gaps allow angles between 30° and 60° allowing practically any angle to be set and shape around any construction, even in areas where access is restricted. Altrad Futuro has been independently tested and has met or exceeded the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) criteria for Quality, Technical Specification and Compliance to EN 12810 and EN 12811 2004. Scaffolding for circular applications The key to the Genlok system is the 360° node point which can lock up to four components in one easy hammer blow. Genlok is ideal for circular applications allowing the ledgers to be rotated around the pocket. Additional components can be supplied to create staircases, loading towers, mobile towers and birdcage scaffolds. Scaffold stair towers Genlok System Scaffolding can be used to provide a safe, stable, site staircase enabling personnel to gain access to the working level swiftly and efficiently. Independently to other scaffolds or integral to Genlok facade scaffolds, towers can be erected with full access landings, double handrails and non-slip stair units in either steel or aluminium. Stair units come in 1.5m and 2.0m units. Heavy-duty tube, board and fittings Generation are suppliers of a full range of scaffold tube, boards and fittings designed specifically for the heavy industrial market. High quality aluminium tube stocked in various lengths up to 6.0m (20ft) and fully compliant to Grade 6086 T6 / EN755 (48.3mm O/D x 4mm) Generation's BS EN 12811-1 steel boards are available in various lengths between 6ft and 13ft. Fire retardant and long lasting these boards are perfect for harsh environments and offshore use. Also available are fire retardant timber boards, specified to BS EN 13501-1 giving either a Class 1 or a Class 0 Rating (Euroclass B & C). Generation's Scaffold Fittings range offers extreme strength and value for money. Designed and manufactured to BS EN 74-1 and BS1139 Section 2:1:1991 (EN74 1998) they provide a strong yet economic solution to scaffolding needs.
