FWG-IHW is a globally active technology leader in the fields of metal spring manufacturing and surface engineering. The company has over 30 years of experience and know-how, and more than 60 employees in different departments. It recently incorporated former partner and surface coating specialist Albrecht Oberflächentechnik (AOT). FWG-IHW's customers come from a broad range of industries. Springs are manufactured for safety and control instruments, valves, power plants, offshore modules, hangers, machine and building spring suspension systems, oscillating conveyors, locksmiths and general machine engineering. Alloy springs FWG-IHW manufactures springs with a range that is unrivalled in Germany, from 0.2mm to 53mm. Its product portfolio includes pressure, tension and leg springs as well as wire bending parts. The company manufactures its products from all types of alloys, ranging from carbon steel and tempering steel to special alloys, including: Inconel X750, 600, 625, 718 Nimonic 90 Titanium (in various grades) Hastelloy C4, C22, 276 Monell 400, K500 ALLOY 20, 800HT Custom-made springs With state-of-the-art methods and completely electronically controlled machines, FWG-IHW can develop solutions based on special customer requirements at extremely high processing speeds. Metal spring delivery FWG-IHW maintains numerous customer storage facilities to enable timely delivery, and has solid business contacts in a total of 17 countries. These include Italy, France, Spain, Scandinavia, India, China and Russia. Certified quality management Quality and quality assurance are key factors at FWG-IHW. The company's quality management system is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008, AD 2000 memo W0 and KTA-1401. Four permanently employed members of staff are responsible for quality assurance as well as quality management and documentation. By using the most modern measuring tools, communications technology, software and hardware and a strict adherence to quality processes, FWG-IHW is able to maintain a quality defects quota of almost zero.
