Fleximark AB is a Swedish company that since 1978 produces, manufactures and develops marking systems for cables, wires and components in areas such as offshore, automation, telecom and process industries.
Fleximark is focused on developing new products, both marking systems and service in the form of simple, useful tools, and working together with the customer to develop a suitable solution, in terms of demands and requirements.
Fleximark's products are designed to meet the toughest demands. They produce a range of marking systems including standard, custom and data systems for cables, wires and components. One of the toughest products is the stainless steel marking, which has been used in projects such as Ormen lange, Valhall and the Öresunds bridge.
Fleximark has been established for many years as a member of the Achilles register and is a key supplier of marking solutions to the Norwegian offshore industry.
Stainless steel marking system
Fleximark's stainless steel marking system is designed to meet the demands of tough and hazardous industrial environments, offering vital protection against fire, water and chemical attack. The whole stainless steel marking system is produced in stainless steel SISSS2348 (AISI-316) and is useful for marking cables, components, pipes and devices in demanding and aggressive environments.
The standard stainless steel system contains character holders (for cable and component) and character strips. The embossed character strips are easily snapped off the strip with the help of break markings. They are then mounted into the character holders. The characters are embossed and convex, which makes it easy to read, even when painted. Stainless steel can also be manufactured as a marking kit, with which you can mark your cables and components on the site.
Fleximark customized stainless steel marking is delivered as ready-made signs, with or without cable ties. This marking can also be delivered with one or two rows of text and be sorted on charts according to customer request. The characters are also in the customized system embossed and convex, which makes it easy to read, even when painted.
Fleximark also manufactures high quality stainless steel cable ties and a stainless steel tie gun. Cable ties are provided with an effective locking device and can be mounted by hand or with the help of the stainless steel tie gun.
Other types of cable and wire marking
Fleximark produces and manufactures also marking in polyester, polyamide, polyolefine, PVC and methacrylate. We offer both cable marking, such as Cablelabel for cable ties and customized readymade marking, together with character holders and cable ties; wire marking, such as customized Flexipart or Flexiprint for laser printer and different collars; and component marking, such as different legends, modular strips, tags and engraved marking.
Within the Fleximark range, there is also terminal block marking, shrink tube marking and different labels, such as wraparound labels. We also offer tools, not only for character holders, but also for cable ties and marking rings.
Flexisoft 9.0 with e-plan interface and thermal transfer printers
Fleximark labels can easily be printed on a regular laser printer and thermal transfer printer. For this purpose we have developed user-friendly software, Flexisoft.
Flexisoft label printing program exploits the potential of Microsoft Windows. With the aid of ready-made templates for the Fleximark labeling system it is easy to create and print different labels. E-plan interface, filter function, text generation, serial numbering, electrical symbols, graphics, cut-and-paste, printing and file managing, are some of the features supported by Flexisoft.
Fleximark also offers Thermal transfer printers, which offer excellent quality, durable and technologically advanced features. The E4304 printer is an entry level, compact printer with 300dpi resolution. The M4306 is a high performance, high volume, stable printer for industrial applications. Both of these printers work with Flexisoft software.
For marking items such as tags for collars and terminal blocks, Fleximark offers a user-friendly thermal transfer Multiprinter. Together with Flexisoft software this creates a complete system for marking terminal blocks, components, cables and wires, more or less everything that you need in a control panel. The thermal transfer Multiprinter prints on both hard and soft plastic and can be provided with a magazine for producing larger quantities.
