Eureka Safety

Profile

"Safety through progress" is Eureka's leading driving force, which has resulted in a family of working gloves specifically developed for use in the oil and gas industry. Eureka uses a deep knowledge of textile fibres accumulated during its 54-year company history to meet the explicit demands of its end user contacts. Eureka sets new quality levels for comfort, dexterity, all-round safety and durability. Affordability is a key target for Eureka, but safety always comes first for the company. Its gloves reach the highest standards for cut resistance, puncture and needle resistance, flame retardancy and abrasion resistance. They are also oil and waterproof for clients that work in wet environments or drilling rigs. Full-impact hand protection Whether you wish to protect only the back of your hand against blunt impacts, or you need to also protect the palm and the back against sharp hazards, Eureka will have the right choice of full-impact hand protection. Eureka gloves are extremely comfortable. Maximised dexterity and safety enables users to experience less hand fatigue while feeling secure. Cut, puncture and needle-resistant gloves Eureka's Sweden-based research and product development facility has created a single layer of very dense material offering the highest CE EN388 level 5 cut resistance with very high industrial puncture and needle resistance, all in one single structure. This is important, as it means that no matter what angle the sharp impact comes from, the structure will resist well. Many multi-layer structures will display excellent test results at a straight 90° angle impact, but low resistance to side-angle impacts. Eureka's unique safety material gives its gloves extra reliability. Cut, puncture and needle resistance is not only required on the palm of the hand, and so Eureka also offers it on the back of its Impact Xtreme family of gloves. Eureka is the only company to offer full impact protection gloves on the market. Oil grip gloves for harsh environments Offshore work is truly tough. No matter the task, employees are always at risk. Besides protecting them from the worst hazards, workers on rigs need gloves which offer a good oil grip and keep their hands warm and dry. Eureka's Impact Xtreme WET, MUD and WINTER styles provide various combinations of comfort and protection levels, to make the working day as comfortable as possible. For off-site work where impact protection gloves are no longer compulsory, workers will still need gloves with a general oil resistance protecting their skin. From light to full coverage, and up to full cut resistance, Eureka always has a solution to the specific request of clients. Anti-vibration gloves Some jobs expose workers to risks, including long-term health risks which might only become apparent when it is too late. Working with vibrating tools and parts are examples of such work environments. Eureka anti-vibration gloves, certified according to CE EN 10819, help to minimise the negative effects of vibrations to employees' health. Keeping up blood circulation is an essential part of remaining healthy, and so Eureka also offers a WINTER version to be used in temperatures of 7°C and below. Fire-proof gloves Workers must wear the right gloves if they are being exposed to risks where their hands might get burned. As well as being flame-resistant, Eureka's CE EN 407 FR gloves also offer maximum dexterity and the highest possible CE EN388 level 5 protection against cuts.
