Elkjøp is the leading supplier of electronic goods in the Nordic region.We provide a wide range of electronic products to both consumers and businesses in the oil and gas industry. In Norway we have more than 100 retailers ready to offer you great deals on great products. From our wholesale facility, we offer: Domestic appliances Small domestic appliances Audio and video components Computers and computer accessories Tablets and tablet accessories Mobile and telecom communication products Digital cameras and video cameras Entertainment and gaming equipment We also distribute professional equipment in all sectors through high-quality third-party suppliers. Elkjøp can also provide customers with quality support and installation on all products. Elkjøp's history In 1962, 33 independent domestic appliance stores joined forces and started Elkjøp, which was to become the nordic region's largest retailer of electrical goods. The formula was simple yet effective: "together we are strong". By purchasing products in large quantities we achieved significant bulk discounts which led directly to lower prices for customers. 50 years later, we are represented in all of the Nordic countries by over 7,000 employees. Elkjøp Wholesale Elkjøp Wholesale is located in Jönköping, Sweden, and distributes goods to all of Elkjøp's stores in the nordic region. The warehouse is 95,000m² - equivalent to 14 football fields. We have our own railway line directly to the warehouse, with over 2,500 freight wagons arriving each month. Business to business sales team In 2001 a small B2B sales team was formed in Norway to meet the demand from the B2B market. After a strong growth we are now establishing business centres in our new megastores, to provide our B2B customers with the best possible support, and have set up additional central B2B sales organisations in the other Nordic countries. Currently we have 13 business centres in Norway, 26 in Sweden and eight in Finland.
