Profile

Creative Tent International (CTI) is an acknowledged leader in the engineered tension fabric structure segment, serving commercial, industrial and military markets worldwide. We specialize in a creative approach to integrate customer requirements into our standard product line. Our US-made tension fabric structures range from 20ft to 200ft-wide, with lengths from 20ft to any length required; many of our structures are hundreds of feet long. We have more than 50 years of experience in design, manufacturing, sales and service to the tension fabric structure industry, and we provide customer solutions worldwide. Our products are known for their innovative design, ease of construction and industry-leading quality. Customizable fabric structures with simple installation The engineered design of the Shasta Shelter® aluminum alloy beam profile creates unmatched and exceptional volume with no interior columns or supports. Its design gives you more room to manoeuvre aircraft, vehicles, machinery, cargo or anything else you may require within the space. We offer a variety of sizes that range from 20ft to 20ft-wide and our units can be configured based on your specific requirements and location needs. Shasta Shelter is fully customizable and the perfect choice for your industrial requirements. All of our units are non-corrosive and mold-resistant. Shasta Shelters require no foundation and are easy to install on concrete, asphalt, grass or dirt. Pre-engineered kits require no on-site fabrication or welding of the frame or fabric to install. The structure is fully relocatable, allowing for disassembly and reuse of all components (except anchors) without additional fabrication or welding. Relocatable structures for harsh environments Most beams have a snap button connection, can be assembled on the ground and hand-lifted into place with no heavy machinery required. This makes construction simple and means you can be operational quickly. Our patented Purlin design keeps fabric taut, while a kedar system integrates the fabric into the frame structure. Our technicians are field-sensitive to on-site environmental conditions, complexities of installation and logistics, ensuring your structure is installed quickly and correctly. CTI has products in more than 60 countries, used by the military, industrial, event, recreation and resort industries. We are skilled in dealing with overseas projects and logistics, and pride ourselves on our global focus, international support and worldwide service. Many of our engineered fabric structures are commercial, off-the-shelf products and fulfil the most common requirements, with quality products and unsurpassed engineering. Certified materials for stringent offshore standards Our units are engineered to the International Building Code (IBC). They meet Berry Amendment requirements, are designed to handle high wind and snow loads, are suitable for rugged and remote locations, and can be used for short or long-term projects. The fabric meets NFPA 701 fire code for safety. Certified warranted materials and rigorous testing are the foundation of our manufacturing procedures. Our quality assurance program follows the product through each phase of manufacturing to ensure consistent quality. All structures are manufactured in the US. Aircraft hangars and warehousing for remote locations FTS150 and FTS200 are the largest of the Shasta Shelter series and are designed specifically for industrial machinery storage and maintenance. They are clear span tension fabric structures that have no internal columns or supports, which increases flexibility and manoeuvrability of equipment within the space. These units have most commonly been used for storage and maintenance of C-130 or C17 aircraft, which gives you an idea of the size and volume. The Shasta Shelter series allows you to build an airfield or industrial maintenance facility anywhere in the world. Vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance All heavy machinery needs to be maintained and, at times, repaired. The Large Area Maintenance Shelter (LAMS) is perfect for this type of use. Metal roll-up doors, full-width doors, fabric sliding doors and flooring, as well as heating or cooling and ventilation, are all options that make these units as usable and durable as metal buildings. The ability of these units to be reused, installed quickly and configured based on your needs and location requirements makes them the right choice for industrial uses and budget-conscious decision-makers. Storage and warehouse facilities The FTS50 in the Shasta Shelter series is designed for smaller equipment and storage requirements. These units are often accompanied by office, dining or personnel facilities. These units can be air-conditioned or heated based on the environment, ensuring your supplies are kept dry and usable. By simply adding a section or bay to the unit, it can grow with you based on your needs and those of the project. With quick installation by personnel and no foundation or large, heavy equipment required, you can focus on your project and not the logistics of getting your site operational. Personnel, dining and office facilities In remote or coastal locations, housing, dining and personnel facilities are often required. The FTS20 of the Shasta Shelter series offers a variety of options and configurations to accommodate any crew size. Our patented Purlin design keeps fabric tight and the structure weather-resistant. The clear span feature of the structure means no internal supports, giving you more flexibility in design and use. Camp sets for remote locations For long-term projects, full camp sets can be constructed in weeks, not months or years. Shasta Shelter's variable sizes in both width and length, accessory kits and patented design with full engineering means you can have a fully operational semi-permanent industrial city with the flexibility of temporary and reusable structures. Camp sets can include everything from heavy equipment maintenance and storage to personnel facilities for sleeping, dining and office work.
