Lifting equipment surveys for the offshore industry We inspect various types of lifting equipment used in the offshore industry. With many years of experience with DNV 2.7-1 and EN12079 offshore (tank) containers, various wire ropes, chains and other lifting and hoisting equipment, we offer reliable and quick inspection of your equipment in accordance with LOLER or other standards. We also perform inspections on derricks, special DROPS surveys and inspection of drilling equipment according to the standards of the American Petroleum Institute (API). Non-destructive examinations Our inspectors are trained and certified to ASNT/EN473 Level-II and are able to offer various types of non-destructive examination, such as magnetic particle, eddy current, ultrasonic and dye penetrant inspection. We also offer wall thickness measurement services on tanks and pipework. Helicopter refuelling system and helideck inspections For over ten years we have been inspecting helicopter refuelling systems and performing yearly helideck inspections according to the internationally accepted CAP-437 standard. Inspection of IMO tank containers, including 2.5-year and five-year IMO inspections, are carried out in our own facilities together with the inspection and overhaul of pressure safety valves. Certification database with 24/7 access With our in-house developed certification database (CIQS), we are able to generate certificates quickly and free of errors. Certificates may be sent by post or electronic mail and are made available via our internet website where all certificates, complete history and equipment details can be accessed around the clock.
