Competentia and our US consulting arm, Argonauta, provide the most experienced and productive project management, engineering, subsea and subsurface professionals to strengthen and support the successful execution of our customers' oil and gas developments globally. We are continuously developing our global network in order to service our clients' oil and gas developments wherever they may be. This, together with delivering the highest levels of service, will ensure the expansion of our customer base, repeat business and long-term relationships with both our clients and consultants. Dedicated recruitment and HR teams in each of our offices are familiar with the requirements of oil and gas projects and can support our clients by managing their requirements for contract staffing, permanent recruitment and/or payrolling solutions from project start to completion. Our services are provided to leading oil and gas operators, as well as service companies, in Europe, Africa, America and Asia Pacific, by our business units in Australia, Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Norway, Singapore, Trinidad, the US and the UK. We therefore offer the global capability to work with clients and candidates locally to achieve efficient recruitment, mobilisation, payment, insurance, HR and health/safety support of our consultants across the globe ("Contractor Care"), together with our experience and expertise in dealing with local and global regulations and challenges. About Competentia Our principal clients, the oil and gas explorers and producers, include BG, BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, ENI, Exxon, INPEX, Premier Oil, PTTEP and Statoil with the emphasis on their gas liquefaction, subsea and floating production projects. Competentia's global management team, under the leadership of CEO Geir Egil Olsen, includes previous experience from key oil and gas businesses, including Aker, AMEC, Clough, Fabricom, KBR, Schlumberger, Statoil, Subsea7 and Tidewater Marine, in international locations in Australasia, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, North America and Scandinavia. Therefore, we understand projects and how they function, wherever they are, and can provide highly experienced consultants to strengthen and support the successful development of our clients' oil and gas facilities globally. Competentia was initially established in Stavanger, Norway, in 1998. After a change of ownership in 2006 the company has maintained consistent growth to become a global service provider with revenue of more than NOK1.2bn in 2013. In February 2012, the leading Nordic private equity firm Reiten & Co. acquired 51% of the company, thus providing additional expertise and financial resources to support the strategic development of the company, including the acquisition of Argonauta in 2014.
