CABLUL ROMANESC SA is Romania's oldest steel wire rope manufacturer and one of the oldest in Europe. We are able to offer a wide range of various high-quality steel wire ropes, including non-rotating ropes, offshore drilling and anchor lines ropes for oil and gas industry that fit to the most demanding customer requirements.
Our products are manufactured according to well-known international standards, such as DIN, EN, BS, ISO, ASTM and API 9A, and are certified by GL, Lloyd's Register, ABS and API.
Looking for total satisfaction of the client with regard to quality and certification demands, we test both the raw material and the final product in our own laboratory.
Offshore steel wire ropes
CABLUL ROMANESC produces steel wire ropes and slings, which consist of drawn, hot dipped galvanised or bright wires with tensile strength from 1,570N/mm² to 2,160N/mm², in diameters up to 80mm and continuous length weighing up to 30t.
Drilling and rigging wire ropes
All over the world API provides the most demanded and reliable standard for wire ropes used in the fields of exploration and for the production of oil and natural gas – fields that are the first step in delivering energy for many aspects of daily life.
That is why our company owns an API Licence and Monogram to support our customers either on land or sea with drilling and rigging wire ropes.
Marine wire ropes
Our wire ropes cover almost all marine applications. These include anchoring, mooring, towing and fishing wire ropes, which are consistently manufactured and tested in compliance with Germanischer Lloyd, Lloyd's Register and ABS certificates.
Our company has developed a new specialised product especially for fishing applications. Glafkos® is a combination rope that provides corrosion resistance, flexibility and high load capacity, designed for the utility of fishing nets.
Lifting wire ropes
For lifting and hoisting purposes, CABLUL ROMANESC manufactures special non-rotating wire ropes as well as standard ones. For elevators, we have developed, to the benefit of our customers, special pre-stressed wire ropes, which increase use efficiency and decrease maintenance costs.
General-purpose steel wire ropes and slings
CABLUL ROMANESC has been providing, for more than 85 years, steel wire ropes and slings for a series of other applications in addition to the offshore industry, including mining, constructions, lashing, suspensions, winches, aviation, and more.
We manufacture slings with aluminium ferrule secured or hand-spliced eye terminations, with one or more legs accessorised with different types of shackles, clips, turnbuckles, hooks, thimbles and sockets, according to our customers' demands.
High-quality ropes and slings
Our motto 'Safety and Quality' is based on the quality management system that was implemented in our company according to ISO 9001:2000, certified by the Germanisher Lloyd Notified Body.
In addition, we are authorised to use CE marking by the Eurocert Notified Body. All raw materials and finished products are tested in our own GL-certified laboratory, thus guaranteeing the customer's satisfaction.
