Aquasign specialises in the design and manufacture of anti-fouling subsea markers. Previously known as Champion Environmental Technologies, we are the recognised experts in underwater signage as we invest in R&D to offer a product that is innovative, cost-effective and environmentally sustainable. Used on more than 800 oilfield projects worldwide, Aquasign has a track record in excess of 30 years. Custom designed for all types of subsea equipment, our solution uses a unique oil release system that provides a performance guarantee minimum of 30 years. With an extensive in-house manufacturing facility, we can deliver all your signage needs from surface to seabed. Our fully customisable products deliver an array of benefits to clients looking for high-visibility, longevity and added value with their signage requirements. Subsea markers Aquasign offers signage solutions that provide highly visible identification and orientation markings for all types of subsea equipment. Our anti-fouling marker systems were originally developed by Shell at their Thornton Research Centre, inspired by the secretion of oils through fish skin. Using the unique combination of a hydrophobic surface and controlled oil-release system, Aquasign subsea markers prevent marine growth at the lowest level. Subsea fixing solutions One of the newest members of the Aquasign fixing portfolio is our revolutionary self-adhesive, KISS ('Keep it Simple, Seal'). A specially formulated adhesive tape designed to improve the installation process, simply peel, stick and seal. Guaranteed for 60 years of subsea adhesion when combined with our sealant Biohesive 225, KISS is the premium fixing solution. Bespoke subsea signage Aquasign subsea markers are the premium product for subsea identification. However, in circumstances where an anti-fouling solution is not deemed essential, we now offer our alternative product range Aquaplates. Aquaplates are precision water-cut signage, bespoke manufactured to client requirements, including paint specifications. Subsea adhesives: Biohesive® 225 and Aquahesive™ 5836 Aquasign offers higher-performance and innovative adhesives, designed for long-term subsea use. KISS, Biohesive and Aquahesive are the only adhesives approved for use with Aquasign subsea markers. Retrofit solutions: magnetic and spring clip Where the markers cannot be installed topside, retrofit solutions are also available, suitable for ROV or diver assistance. Aquasign will work with you to design a bespoke product suitable for your installation, environment and marker requirements. Examples of our retrofit solutions include, but are not limited to, magnetic and spring clip. Oilfield signage Although subsea identification is our core business, Aquasign also offers custom-manufactured signage for topside applications. With our extensive manufacturing facility, we produce a range of hard wearing-identification and certification nameplates, designed to withstand the harshest offshore environments.
