3B Filters has been providing high-pressure housings to the filter industry since 1978. It is a subsidiary of Demco Products, which is a family-run manufacturing business that was established in 1950. Our product series of mini in-lines, in-lines and large T-types constructed from aluminium and stainless-steel have been extensively used in the petroleum, aerospace and chemical processing industries. 3B Filters can custom manufacture any of its filters to accommodate customer specifications. Mini in-line and regular in-line filters The Series 82 mini in-line filters feature a compact, cost-effective design with durable stainless-steel construction that can be used for a variety of applications in close quarters. Due to their small size, the S82 series offers excellent precision protection for filter applications with space limitations. Inlet and outlet portings can be chosen depending on preference and 3B Filters also provides special portings for custom applications. The filter discs in the S82 series can be sintered stainless steel or woven wire mesh. Units with wire mesh discs are easily cleanable by back flushing with an appropriate solvent and every unit features arrows to easily guide the user through flow directions. The 83 and 84 Series in-Line filters are available in 303, 316 and 17-4 stainless steel to accommodate operating pressures up to 30,000psi and can be used in a wide variety of gas and liquid applications. They have NPT, SAE, M/P or H/P ports depending on the desired operating pressure. The filter elements can be sintered metal or woven wire mesh. T-type filters 3B Filter's Series 8100 super-mini T-type filters are constructed from stainless-steel and weigh only 2.5lbs. Measuring 2in x 3.75in with a 1/4in National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) port, the 8100 Series has an operating pressure of 10,000psi. The 8500 Series is a T-Type filter constructed from stainless steel and aluminum accommodating operating pressures up to 6,000psi and flows up to 50gpm. They have NPT or SAE ports and can be equipped with visual or electrical differential pressure indicators. The filter elements can be cellulose, microglass, sintered metal or woven wire mesh. The 8600 Series is a T-Type High-pressure filter assembly accommodating operating pressures up to 20,000psi. The housings can be made from 303, 316 or 17-4 stainless steel and have M/P or NPT ports depending upon the desired pressure. They can be equipped with visual or electrical differential pressure indicators. The filter elements can be microglass, sintered metal or woven wire mesh. The 8700 Series is a T-Type filter assembly that can accommodate operating pressures as high as 30,000psi. The housings are made from aluminum or stainless steel and can have NPT , M/P or H/P ports depending upon the desired operating pressure. They can be equipped with visual or electrical differential pressure indicators. The filter elements can be cellulose, microglass, sintered metal or woven wire mesh. Multi-use compact filters Similar to the 82 Series, the 88 Series provides cost-effective, compact filtration with the added feature of easy element disc change-out. The filter discs in the S88 series can be sintered stainless steel or woven wire mesh. Units with wire mesh discs are easily cleanable by back flushing with an appropriate solvent. The 88 series unit is ideal for test stands when a variety of micron rating elements are required. Special materials are available upon request, but the standard unit makes a cost effective filter for applications like pneumatic systems, laboratories, gauges and hydraulic systems. Spin-on filters The 8900 and 9000 Series is perfect for general purpose low pressure filtration applications. The standard filter head is cast aluminum and there is an available specially treated stainless head for corrosive environments such as on ocean oil rigs. Precision filter discs For areas that are too small for regular or mini filters, precision filter discs are an appropriate alternative for protecting equipment from contamination. The stainless-steel discs can be designed to a client's own specifications, and are manufactured to the same standards as the regular-sized filters to provide effective protection in compact filtering areas. Interchange elements Many of our filters have interchangeable elements to accommodate speciality applications; in fact, 3B Filters can supply more than 100,000 interchange elements.
